Today was a busy day. It happened to be a windy/rainy day too. I also didn’t have enough sleep last night and the fact that I cannot drink coffee anymore could have made things worse. But it didn’t.
It was a gloomy morning and for some reasons, I was happily drinking hot chocolate in the office while smiling. I felt like sun rays were coming out of my body. Oh, if only my aura could be seen. I was like a sun inside a box. Continue reading “A Sprinkle of Happiness”
Today is my 5th day without any caffeine intake.
Five days ago, my friend and I wanted to practice free diving hence I did not drink coffee. Coffee is not allowed when free diving.
That morning I was walking like a zombie. Yawning every few minutes. No energy. My eyes, teary. Dizzy. By afternoon, I already felt the impending headache. Continue reading “Decaffeinated”
I went to a medical center to get my blood samples taken two nights ago. The medical center’s location was quite difficult to reach. The road was so narrow and it is somewhere not touristy, surrounded by motor and wood shops. Continue reading “Lost”
*To the island that I used to love
The last time I left you, I wasn’t able to hold back my tears as I took what I thought was my last seaplane journey out.
I was sad. Really sad. You’ve been my home for two years. And the memories I have collected can be compared to a pot of gold, hidden on the far side of the rainbow. I loved you. I loved your beauty and all your flaws. I didn’t want to leave you but your changes forced me to. Continue reading “Last Flight Out”
Paulit-ulit akong nagdadrama dito sa aking blog tungkol sa aking trabaho at nandito na naman ako at magdadrama ulit. Ang drama ko sa buhay ay parang fungi na kahit pahiran ng sandamakmak na Nizoral Cream ay hindi maubos ubos (this is not a sponsored post ha ha).
How many times have I complained about my work-life drama and here I am writing about it again. My dramas in life are like fungi. They won’t disappear no matter how many times I apply Nizoral Cream.

It’s 8:30pm and I sit in this small office that I share with my Assistant Director.
I look at his desk with one laptop, a black notebook and a pen.
This desk will be empty soon. Continue reading “The Tide Turns”
…I have some stories to tell.
I’ve read Kat’s Coffee Post today and it was just in time. I felt some urge to write something earlier but I can’t figure out how I’m gonna write it. Then I saw Kat’s post. (Sorry Kat, my lazy ass is just gonna use your format 😀 )

I’ve always wanted to go for Free Diving Lessons and I have been searching for sessions here in the Maldives but I guess it isn’t a trend yet. Most dive centers only offer Scuba Diving Certification. Maybe because almost all the Maldivians who can swim (take note, not every Maldivian can swim given the type of location the country is in) can also free dive and even beat those who take lessons.
They can easily reach 38 meters even though the maximum depth to be certified is just 20 meters. Continue reading “Lessons I’ve Learned From My Free Diving Lessons”
Another year has passed and my blog is turning six in a few days. It’s amazing how time flies.
Last year I did a little giveaway for my 5th year anniversary but this time I won’t. This year would be more like a reflection. Continue reading “6th”
Continue reading “!kaw LnG Xap4t Nuh!”
