After our Epic Trip in Bolinao, we felt unsatisfied because we didn’t get a chance to do what we really wanted, to swim and also to lie down on the beach. Non-IG-husband suggested that we visit Hundred Islands since it is just an hour drive from Bolinao. Continue reading “Unexpected Trip to Hundred Islands”
Summer is here! And for me, summer means getaway!
By the way, this post isn’t going to be a usual travel post so if you are looking for travel tips, this isn’t the right place for you.
Moving forward, why Bolinao? Continue reading “Epic Bolinao Trip”
Last Saturday, our team went to an island called Faandhoo for a picnic and of course I will share the experience with you. However, this post will be different as I won’t be writing but I’ll be taking you with me to a trip to Faandhoo Island through a video. (My very first legit video! Yey!)
Today we visited the island called Mheedoo in Dhaalu Atoll. We went to a school and got a chance to meet some cute kids. Of course I took photos of them and of the island as well. Continue reading “This Little Island Girl”
A holiday in the Maldives is almost every couple’s dream especially those who are on honeymoon or celebrating their wedding anniversaries. Though nowadays, Maldives is becoming a family destination too.
There are so many resorts in the Maldives and each one of them have a different vibe. Some have a rustic feel, some luxurious and some, modern and casual. Kandima Resort is one of the latest additions to the continuously increasing number of resorts in the Maldives. A combination of modern and luxurious vibe.
Jet-setter lifestyle is so hyped nowadays. With the rise of so many travel bloggers, it’s impossible not to get jealous with the places that they’ve been. Almost everyone’s dreaming of globetrotting and to be honest, I sometimes get swayed with the way the countries are being marketed by social media influencers, that there were times I just wanted to book a ticket to somewhere.
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. – St. Agustine
Whenever I fly back to Maldives from my vacation, I will always arrive late in the evenings and there’s no possibility for me to take a seaplane to my resort as the seaplane company only operates from 6am to 6pm. So I would definitely require a place to stay for the night.
Today, I was lucky enough to have an amazing encounter with the playful dolphins. I’ve never seen this much and this close. However, I found it hard to get nice pictures of them because they were very fast.
So here are some pictures that I have taken, no (dolphin) jump shots though, I’m such an amateur.
Though the shots aren’t the best ones, I still have to pat myself on the back for the effort and tell myself that I did like some of the photos and here are my favorite shots:
Today, me and my colleagues went to another resort where the FUTSAL league is being held.
FUTSAL is a variation of Football played on a smaller court and to tell you, Maldivians are die hard Foot ball enthusiasts. So this game is a big thing for my Maldivian colleagues and we were there to support them.
Anyway, I’m not here to talk about FUTSAL or Football because I’m not really a big fan of the sport. I’m here to share some photos that I took. Well, taking photos of non-moving objects can be tricky, what more of moving people. Quite tough!
So here are few good ones out of almost a hundred that I rejected. (ha ha) I’m sure none of my colleagues will object to my posting of their photos. (ha ha)
