Chain posts don’t reach the end, it seems. They only go in circles and the next thing you know is you’ve been tagged again.

It’s been a while since I last got a chain post, years maybe? And getting tagged once again made me look back at all my award posts which led me to my very first Liebster Award back in 2012. It’s interesting how some things in our lives changed and some stayed the same.

So here we go!

My answers to the questions given to me:

1. What are the top three movies that you like to re-watch?
   • 50 First Dates, Armageddon, Castaway or Forrest Gump. These are the classics that I keep watching every now and then.
2. If you could eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
   • Spaghetti Aglio Olio with lots of garlic.
3. If you can speak to any person in the world (living or deceased), who would he/she be?
   • Deceased: Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio.
   • Living: Ebe Dancel and Gerard Way.
4. If you could choose one movie director to “direct” your life, who would that director be?
   • I don’t know a lot of directors to be honest. But maybe Bela Padilla. She has interesting ideas. Or Tonette Jadaone so my life story could be told in such a romantic way?
5. Are you a cat or dog person?
   • I like dogs a bit more.
6. What makes you happy?
   • Nice food. Enough sleep. Random kindness from people.
7. What do you wish more people understood?
   • A lot of things.
8. Name your #1 pet peeve?
   • I hate it when youngsters don’t listen and act like they know better. HAHA.
9. What’s your favourite movie to quote?
   • I actualy don’t know the movie titles but these lines just popped up immediately in my mind. I don’t even know if is this is the correct way to answer this question. haha.
     • Isang bala ka lang.
     • Bukas luluhod ang mga tala.
     • Bakit parang kasalanan ko?
10. If you had a superpower what would it be?
    • Time travel

11 “fun” facts about me:

1. These two songs kept playing in my head over the last few days: Heathens by Twenty One Pilots and Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi
2. Currently reading 100 years of Solitude . This is my 2nd attempt to read the book, and halfway through the book I don’t know whose son is who because they named all their sons either Jose, Arcadio or Aureliano.
3. A month ago, I was chased by a shark. Until two days ago, I believed it was a Nurse Shark but then our Dive Master told me that there is a possibility that it was a Lemon Shark and not a Nurse Shark.
4. I am currently trying to write a story. 20 pages down the line, I went back to page one because I thought I wanted to change one of the main characters. So, I don’t know when am I going to complete this.
5. I dying to watch Umbrella Academy because 1) it was written by Gerard Way and 2) I like Klaus and Number 5. But I don’t have Netflix Account. HAHA
6. I’m a Certified PADI Freediver. My personal best is 20meters with fins and 10.1 meters without fins.
7. I cut my own hair three Fridays ago. I was trying to sleep that afternoon but I couldn’t so I stood up from my bed, took the scissors and cut my hair.
8. No matter what the song is, if I sing it it becomes like a lullaby. I tried so hard to be a rockstar but I just couldn’t.
9. Been working abroad for 14 years. I’ve been out of the country for so long.
10. A lot of people are scared of me because of the way I look at them and by the way I speak. But that’s before they find out who I really am. If they ever find out. If not, they’ll keep their distance from me.
11. Somebody played Thirty Seconds to Mars today and it made me so happy. It’s nice to find someone who listens to the same music as I do (because a lot of Maldivians only listen to their local music or modern pop {is this even how you call it?}, at least those that I’ve met.). I thought that I’ve mellowed down on my choice of music because of my age but then whenever I hear such type of music, even at this time, my heart beats faster.
