Fushifaru Maldives: A Super Instagrammable Luxury Resort

Needless to say, this post will contain images which will show why Fushifaru is a super instagrammmable resort in the Maldives. But before we proceed  with all the photos, let me give a brief description of the resort. Like, really brief.

Fushifaru is a chic resort located at Lhaviyani Atoll, a 45-minute scenic seaplane journey from Velana International Airport.  The resort has 49 villas only out of which 5 are water villas, a main restaurant, a pool bar, a grill restaurant  which also prepares Teriyaki in front of the guests, served on  the spot. It has a dive and water sports center, a kids club and a gallery where one can buy souvenirs.

The staff are super friendly, casual but not intrusive. And the best part is, they have a good selection of food, one of the most important factors when choosing an island resort in the Maldives.

The resort is pretty new and has just been operational for two years. They made the resort in a way that each and every area can be an instagrammable spot. From your room, to the bath tub, to pools, restaurants, destination dining, the beach, under the palm trees and even underwater, every area has a spot where you can take photos although, the island itself is beautiful even with less ‘man-made’ spots.

My room for 3 days.
Fushifaru Bath tub
I love this bathroom. It’s open but it still has some privacy as the shower and toilet is covered. Love that bath tub and outdoor shower although I didn’t really use the bath tub. Ha ha.

Towels
Ehem, that’s me trying to use the bathtub. Camera on timer. The end result? Blurred photo.
The keycard and the weaved coconut leaf as a welcome garland.

Half healthy, half not.
Fushifaru Maldives Restaurant
They have this grill counter where I was able to have Salmon Teriyaki for dinner…
Momsh the photographer 😀
Fushifaru Maldives Free dive
Well, they are instagrammable even under water. They have areas where free divers can take photos such as this bike and swing.
Fushifaru Maldives Freedive
Ehem, excuse the baby fats.

Feels like I’m about to read a letter to Charo Santos.

This is my most favorite shot. Look at that powdery soft beach, the sea, the palm trees and the water villas.

And this post will not be on aysabaw.com if there are no bloopers. So here we go!

The lengths (and heights) that we go just for the gram.
I don’t know why there’s a scooter parked outside the main restaurant.
I don’t know why I did this.
Channeling the inner Baywatch babe in me.
Talking to an imaginary friend.
Happy me.
