Talk To Me…

…I have some stories to tell.

I’ve read Kat’s Coffee Post today and it was just in time. I felt some urge to write something earlier but I can’t figure out how I’m gonna write it. Then I saw Kat’s post. (Sorry Kat, my lazy ass is just gonna use your format πŸ˜€ )

Reading: I started reading Mango Bride by Marivi Soliven last night. Gosh! It’s been months since I’ve read a book.

Writing: This blog post.

Listening: I have been crazy about LANY these days. Why didn’t I know about them earlier? Do you guys know Lany? I feel so outdated. I sooo like ILYSB.

Thinking: About spending some days out of the island, doing literally nothing.

Thanking: Bebekoh for the mention

Smelling: I can’t smell anything now.

Wishing: To go somewhere for a short vacation.

Hoping: That some things will change for the better.

Wanting: I want so many things but I don’t really need them.

Needing: I need some rest. Really.

Feeling: Weird. I feel nothing and so many things at the same time.

Talk to me, I still have one more story to tell.

My colleague and I went for my swim this afternoon and had an amazing encounter with a huge Eagle Ray. My colleague and I followed it. We kept on swimming after it and I stretched out my cam stick as far as I could to get good coverage. It kept swimming around. We kept following it. And then at one point it came back. We stopped. It was heading towards us. I actually got a bit scared as I saw it swimming towards me. I know that Eagle Rays won’t do me any harm but I just have this weird feeling of not wanting to be very close to any marine creature. I just want to see them from afar.

As the Eagle Ray passed by, I felt like it was just as curious as me. I think it was just observing me as I was observing it. After that close encounter it started swimming around again, this time swimming up and down, turning, as if showing off. It headed back towards us again and swam under us. I panicked once again because it was so close to me. It was amazing and the whole encounter went on for three minutes. I didn’t realize it was that long until I watched the video.

My day ended well because of the amazing experience. Hope you have a good one too!

  2. Grabe yung Eagle Ray. Bihira makakita ang ordinaryong tao ng ganyan, samantalang ikaw nakita mo ng malapitan. And I’m sure marami pang ibang marine creatures dyan ang nakikita mo lagi, kaya you are blessed. ☺
