My Happiness Jar

I haven’t posted My Happiness Jar for a while but it doesn’t mean I wasn’t happy. There was quite a few hiccups here and there but overall, my happiness explodes.

Here are the things that made me happy lately.

1. One of my short stories got featured in Love Radio today

Last month, one of my short stories  was read on air and I have posted about it here. Today one of my short stories got featured again on Love Radio’s Tambalan. You can listen to it here, or you can read it here. The title of my story is Love Is Never Been but Love Radio hilariously re-titled it with Vandals sa Takubets. I almost died laughing.

For my story to be read on air really means a lot to me. And to be heard twice means a lot more.

2. Removal of Toxins

Sometimes we just have to remove toxic people in our lives then we get a lot of freedom and we get to breathe fresh air. I’ve posted about an ex-friend recently and though it is disheartening to lose a fun friend, but I prefer that this happened now and that I found out soon that she isn’t a real friend.

3. Counting the Days

I’m leaving the island soon for a very short holiday. I’ll get to see my family very soon and I am so excited!

4. My Afternoon Swimming Routine

Whenever the clock strikes six, I am on the way to the beach. I always look forward to my afternoon swim as it doesn’t only make me fit, it also gives me some peace of mind after a day’s work. Although the resident trigger fish bothers me a bit and today I think this fish called his mafia members as there were three of them today guarding their territory, overall the daily swimming routine gives me some sort joy.

5. Keeping My Head Cool

I am so happy with the change in me and I am consistently cool nowadays. Though I am still sometimes getting an anger outburst but on a very low level and I don’t fight with people/colleagues anymore (ha ha). I wanted to be as cool as Vito and Michael Corleone (characters of The Godfather) where they only react with their passive faces no matter how angry they are and that they smile at their enemies and they come back with a big disaster of a hit. I have been trying my best to be cool and slowly, I am getting there.

How about you? What are the things that made you happy recently? Would you like to drop them into the Happiness Jar?
