Call Me When You’re Drunk

Call me in the middle of the night; wake me up from my deep sleep. Call me when your thoughts are blurry, when you can’t walk yourself home. Call me once your spirit flies, just after emptying that spirit bottle.

Call me when you’re drunk and tell me words I long to hear. Call me when you’re sweet and let me feel so endeared.

Call me when you can’t shout, when you only know how to whisper. Speak to me tenderly, speak to me softly.

Call me when your mind isn’t clear, when only your heart can speak, when you can’t weave lies, when you can only tell the truth.

Call me when you’re wrecked and give me a little love.

Call me before you get sober because that’s the time, everything will be over.

This came up after seeing the trailer of I’m Drunk I Love You

Aysa is a stubborn island girl, drinking more than 3 cups of coffee a day, swimming with the reef sharks, turtles and parrot fishes almost everyday. If she is not reading her books, writing something comical, leaving rubbish comments on your posts or strumming her guitar, then she's up to some mischief.
