It Was You

at Montalban, Rizal

It was You. I knew it. I didn’t have to come close. I didn’t have to look at Your face. But I knew it. I knew it.

You were sitting on the rock. Surrounded by a range of mountains. The last one, with almost barren land has become green once more.

It was You that I passed by while walking home.

I have not heard from You for the longest while.

It’s about time, isn’t it?

Last night’s dream.
